Getting Started
Promptly is iOS-only. Open Promptly on the App Store and tap Get. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email when the app opens.
Tap the + button in the composer. Pick a talking-head video from your Photos library — anything from 5 seconds to a few minutes works.
Type the style you want — "viral hype," "storytime," "founder POV" — or tap the mic to speak it. Then send. Under a minute later your edit appears in the chat.
Tap the finished video to play it, share it, or download to Photos. Want changes? Hit Re-edit (Pro) and just say what to change — no re-upload.

Promptly is tuned for talking-head clips — you speaking to camera on your iPhone. Vertical or horizontal both work. Anything from a 10-second take to a few minutes of footage. Vlog-style B-roll-heavy edits aren't the target use case.
Most edits finish in 30–90 seconds. You can leave the app — when it's done, you get a push notification and the finished video appears in the chat thread you started it from.
No. Add music in TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube when you post — that way you get trending sounds and avoid copyright strikes. Promptly handles captions, cuts, zooms, transitions, motion graphics, B-roll, and sound effects.

Tap the mic icon on the right side of the composer (visible when the text field is empty). Speak your vibe — "viral hype with bold captions and zoom on the punchline." Stop talking and the transcript auto-fills into the composer. Tap Done to send or × to discard.
iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Promptly. From there you can switch between monthly/yearly or cancel. Cancellation stops auto-renewal but keeps you on Pro until the end of your current billing period.
Yes. Your uploads and finished renders are stored in your account and only accessible to you. We don't share, sell, or use your content to train AI. You can delete any edit from the Library tab and it's purged from storage.
